Compliance issues arise in many different ways, each unique, like each organization. No two are the same. We approach each client's situation in the way that best suits their situation. We don't offer a generic out of the box compliance or privacy program that may not be suited to you. We don't prescribe a compliance solution before we assess and diagnose. We customize each solution to our clients' unique situation and don't add on or upsell unneccessary extras.

Mike Runquist CHC, CIPM, CIPP/E
Principal
Mike Runquist is a seasoned Compliance Officer with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, specializing in regulatory compliance, risk management, and policy development. He has a proven track record of enhancing operational efficiencies and fostering a culture of compliance.
Consultancy Experience: JMR Consultancy providing compliance and privacy consulting services, including compliance risk assessments and government audit coordination for a number of clients in the healthcare space.
Previous Positions: His past roles include Chief Compliance, Risk Management and Privacy Officer at multiple large, multi-state medical specialty groups and as a Director of Compliance at a managed care health plan where he developed compliance programs and ensured adherence to healthcare and privacy regulations across multiple local, state, and federal jurisdictions.

Mike has made presentations to United States Federal Agencies and Officers during false claim and fraud investigations. He has also assisted in negotiating settlement agreements with the US Department of Justice and the CMS OIG as well as CIA implementation.

Education and Affiliations: Mike holds a B.S. in Management and a Master of Legal Studies, is certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), is a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) and is a member of several professional organizations, including the International Association of Privacy Professionals and the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics.
